Where does EIHStats get its data?

All statistics are sourced from the official England Ice Hockey Game Day system, operated by the EIH. Game sheets are uploaded by team officials after each fixture, and we sync this data regularly to keep our records current.

How often is the data updated?

We sync data from Game Day multiple times per week during the season. Results, standings, and player statistics typically appear within 24-48 hours of the game sheet being uploaded by the home team's officials.

Which competitions are included?

We track 24 competitions across the full EIH structure: U12, U14, U16, and U19 youth divisions (both North and South), the Women's NIHL, and NIHL 1 and NIHL 2 senior leagues. Each competition has its own standings, player rankings, and match records.

Can I compare players from different leagues?

Yes. Our cross-competition compare tool lets you select players or goalies from any league and view their stats side by side. This is useful for scouts and coaches evaluating talent across different age groups or divisions.

I've spotted incorrect data. How do I report it?

Every player and match page includes a “Report Inaccuracy” option. Data corrections are reviewed and applied as quickly as possible. For game sheet upload issues, please contact your team's fixture secretary, as the home team is responsible for submitting results to Game Day.

Is EIHStats affiliated with the EIH?

EIHStats is an independent project and is not officially affiliated with England Ice Hockey. We use publicly available data from the Game Day system to provide statistics and analysis for the benefit of the ice hockey community.
