A cagey first period saw neither side find the breakthrough, but the team grew into the game and eventually found their rhythm. Luke Birchnall stole the show with a sensational hat-trick, proving unstoppable in front of goal throughout the match. Jack Crowston, Toby Fisher and Ewan Woodward also found the net to complete the scoring. Alexander Rushby was the chief creator with two assists, pulling the strings in the offensive zone. Joe Humphries, Toby Fisher, Lee Kemp, Harry Molsom, Joshua Chan, Liam Oughton-Shaw also contributed with assists.
